Yes, the Ghana1000 program is 100% cost-free. Participants only need a working laptop, internet connectivity, and dedication.
You do not need to travel to be part of the program since it is fully virtual. All you need is a laptop and a stable internet connection, and you're good to join, no matter where you are.
It will not be held during working hours. The Curriculum and schedule are structured so as not to disrupt your working hours as NSPs. Sessions will be held in the evenings on weekdays and during the day on Saturdays. The specific times will be communicated to students after they have successfully registered and been admitted into the program.
You will need a working laptop and a stable internet connection, we can't stress that enough because those are the key tools for successful participation. That and your utmost dedication to the program is all you must contribute.
Just make sure you inform your tutor before your absence so that provisions can be made for you to make up. But, do everything possible to be around. Your seriousness counts.
You do not have to join the second cohort if you have already completed the first cohort. The second cohort is for those who are currently having their NSS and could not participate in the program last year.
Dedicated tutors guide participants, monitor progress, and provide assistance throughout the program.
